These seem great. Ive been running the original plastic style wheels so the new wheels are a good step up, although there was nothing particularly wrong with the old ones i just figured it was time to upgrade after having had the 48 inch grinder for about five or six years. I havent done any significant grinding as yet to undertake a full assessment though. My only concern was replacing the drive wheel as i wasnt sure if it was a keyed pressure fit and couldnt find any vids or info on removal in order to ensure i was doing it right and not damaging the motor shaft. It was on VERY tight so i was concerned i may be forcing it to get it off. it all went well though in the end and im ready to rock and roll wiht the new wheels when i have a free weekend.

Our contact wheels are now coated with 83 shore A polyurethane rubber to provide extreme wear resistance. Wheels are then ground perfectly flat to remove any surface variation

Premium bearings

We use only high quality Timken, FAG or Nachi bearings in our contact wheels, spaced with an internal crush tube for optimal bearing pre-load
