Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Reasonable return requests include goods damaged in transport, goods defective on arrival or goods not as described on the website. Return requests based on change of mind will be declined

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Warranty

We offer a 12 month manufacturers warranty on all our products, excluding consumables. Consumables include:

-All abrasives sold with or sold separately to an 84 Engineering manufactured product

-Damage to any rubberised wheel components as a result of misuse or due to regular wear-and-tear. This includes cuts and gouges in rubber.

-Small wheels that de-laminate or melt due to being run faster than manufacturers specifications (green zone on grinder VFD) are also exclusive of manufacturer warranty. Small wheel warranty claims will be assessed and either accepted or denied on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of 84 Engineering.

Rubberised components ARE covered under warranty, however, ONLY if wheel failure occurs as a result of manufacturing process. This includes uneven wearing of wheels and rubber compound de-laminating from hub.*

*Note: Warranty on wheels will be void if REAPER belts are used as these belts are known for causing premature wheel failure.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.



Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
