Let our new platen chiller keep things cool!
Our platen chiller measures 105x49mm and is CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminium. It contains 2 enclosed magnets for easy positioning on any steel surface. The chiller can be used on any platen, on any grinder!
- Flat platen
- Plunge Platen
- Radius platen
- Any other platen with a flat back surface!
The platen comes with:
- 2 x 8mm push to connect fittings pre-installed,
- 2 x 2m lengths of 8mm blue polyurethane hose
- An 8mm-1/2" BSP fitting to fit into the submersible pump.
- Cable tie to anchor return hose
- Optional 24w 240v submersible pump
20L bucket not supplied
You will need to supply a 20L/5Gal bucket and lid for the pump and water. Simply cut a couple of notches around the rim of the bucket for the hoses and leads, fill with water, pop the lid on and your good to go. Do not use your swarf bucket! A separate, sealed clean bucket is required.
For non-Australian customers we will supply pump details so you can source a pump locally that will suit your power supply.
