DESCRIPTION
84 Engineering pre-wired motor and VFD combos plug into any standard 240v power socket. The units comprise a Techtop ES-F0 series Variable Frequency Drive mounted in a custom 84 Engineering IP65 lockable steel inclosure, powering a 3-phase industrial Techtop motor. These units come pre-wired and are programmed specifically to the motor / application, so out of the box you get a true plug-and-play unit.Included is a 1.5m power cable between motor and VFD cabinet and 1.5m plug lead.
The Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) / speed controller converts power to a 3-phase signal, driving the motor. This setup allows you to accurately control motor speed and provides maximum torque even at low RPM. The VFD will automatically ramp up power when under load to maintain belt speed.
Our pre-wired motor / VFD combos are direct replacements for the drive units on your 84 Engineering variable speed disc grinder or Shop Mate 48" & Shop Mate 72" Belt grinders.

This motor / drive combo is a direct replacement for the Shop Master 72" Belt grinder.

Speed: 0-4500RPM forward, 0-2000RPM reverse

SAFETY NOTE: This unit is optimised for disc grinder applications. The 4-pole motor operates within a safe RPM range for disc use and provides maximum torque at a more useable RPM range.
