I just set it up this arvo with the tilting bench mount and found it easy to do. Sanding tight internal corners was quick and precise. My only slight downside of the whole machine is that I have to reach over the machine for on/ off as the control box is so big. I would prefer a remote on/off and E Stop that could be sited near the front of the machine. I have a customer who does motor control systems that I will ask for a solution.
The size of this Horizontal Rest is so helpful for a range of Jobs that are simply too tricky on smaller rests. Thanks Ewan, a fantastic piece of kit.
Gday Bobby Smith here. Have spent I bit of time using the rest and it’s definitely very useful but one thing that I don’t understand, the hight of the rest in relation to the belt. I feel the spacer between the arm and rest could be higher to get better use of the belt. Mine sits almost level with the bottom of the wheels .
